I have partnered up with a fantastic supplier who provides beautiful, fully vaccinated point of lay hens which are available for collection from various pick up points in the UK, including Bury Green Poultry. The hens available are the following breeds;

Pure breeds: Brahma, Cochin, Houdan, Leghorn, Orpington, Vorwerk, Bielefelder, Faverolle, Gauloise, Light Sussex, Swedish Flower Hen, Tolbunt Poland, French Copper Marans, Ayam Cemani, Lakenvelder, Rumpless Araucana, Silver Spangled Appenzeller and Plymouth Rock.

Bantams: Pekins (frizzle and smooth), Silkies, Wyandottes, Sablepoots, Polish, Sebrights, Faverolles, Belgian Barbue de Boisfort and Belgian Barbue de Watermael. 

Hybrids: Blue Marans, Silver Sussex, Columbian Blacktails, Devon Blue, Devon Bronze, Devon Olive, Light Sussex, Lohmann Brown, Millefleur Leghorn, Silver Duckwing Leghorn, Partridge Leghorn, Rhode Rock, Amber Rock, Speckledy Gold, Speckledy Marans, Mystery Hybrid and White Leghorn.

Hatching Eggs

I supply hatching eggs from my own flock at Bury Green Poultry so if you’re keen on hatching your own chicks, please email me for availability. I have Pekin bantams in various colours, pure Light Sussex (large fowl) and rainbow eggs (mix of different breeds which lay different coloured eggs). Please note that hatching eggs are collection only.

Cockerels

Sometimes I have cockerels available from my own flock, these are Pekin bantams (frizzle and/or smooth) and large fowl from my rainbow egg pen. Please email me for availability.
